Role Description
The Investment Analyst will support the investment team in sourcing, evaluating, and executing grocery property investments in line with Supermarket Income REIT’s strategy. This full-time, on-site role is based in London and involves detailed financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and valuation work to assess potential acquisitions and portfolio performance. The Investment Analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors, contribute to transaction due diligence, and help maintain accurate investment and portfolio databases. The role also includes preparing regular reports and insights for senior management and investors, ensuring high-quality analysis and clear communication.
Qualifications
- Strong investments and portfolio management skills, with the ability to assess risk-return profiles and support ongoing asset performance.
- Advanced analytical skills, including comfort with large data sets, scenario analysis, and attention to detail in quantitative work.
- Solid foundation in finance, with practical experience in financial modeling and valuation techniques relevant to real estate or listed funds.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining financial models, including sensitivity analyses and forecasting for investment proposals.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, real estate, business, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, ACA, or similar) are an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial or real estate analytics tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high professional integrity.
- Interest in listed real estate, UK and European grocery markets, and long-income investment strategies is highly beneficial.
