Investment Analyst - London

Salary: Up to £75,000
Location: London
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Type: Permanent

An excellent opportunity for an Investment Analyst to join a growing investment function within a leading insurance business.
The role will focus on investment reporting, portfolio monitoring, regulatory requirements and investment operations, working closely with Finance, Risk and Actuarial teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce investment and portfolio reporting covering performance, returns, risk and holdings
  • Support regulatory reporting, including Solvency II and Lloyd's requirements
  • Prepare reporting packs, dashboards and analysis for senior stakeholders
  • Monitor portfolios against investment, risk and liquidity limits
  • Support daily investment operations, cash flow forecasting and reconciliations
  • Work with external investment managers, custodians and service providers
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, data quality and processes

  • Experience in an analytical investment role
  • Insurance experience required
  • Lloyd's experience would be a strong advantage
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL or Python desirable
  • Understanding of investment data, portfolio reporting and risk analysis
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related subject
  • CFA or IMC desirable
