Investment Analyst – Media | London
We are working with a leading, private equity-backed media business with a specialist lending platform, providing royalty-backed advances against media and entertainment rights. They are seeking an Investment Analyst to join their growing team. In this role, you will be involved in the underwriting, structuring and monitoring of royalty-backed transactions, as well as the broader deal process.
Responsibilities:
- Underwrite and model new royalty-backed transactions.
- Assess the underlying rights and estimate their value and recoupment.
- Carry out credit analysis on borrowers, covering financials and key risks.
- Support the structuring of deals, including advance size, pricing and terms.
- Prepare investment committee memos and presentations.
- Support portfolio monitoring across existing investments.

Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in credit, structured finance or private credit, or in music, media or entertainment finance.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Exposure to royalty, IP or asset-backed lending is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience with Python or SQL is a plus.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
