About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Investment Analyst to join our Investment Team. You will play a critical part in analysing new and existing opportunities, delivering actionable insights, and helping drive informed investment decisions. Your work will influence deal execution, asset repositioning strategies, and long-term portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Data
- Conduct market research and data mining to inform investment decisions
- Benchmark investments against market trends, competitive landscapes, and macroeconomic conditions to evaluate relative performance
- Collect, validate, and manage investment datasets, including precedent transactions and performance evidence for comparable assets
Underwriting, Modelling & Valuation
- Design, create, update, and maintain complex financial models (e.g. DCF) for transactions, valuations, and capital investments
- Conduct investment appraisals of existing and potential assets
- Perform financial and operational analysis
Deal Execution
- Support all aspects of deal execution, including the due diligence process and the preparation of marketing materials
- Help develop term sheets, deal structuring documentation, and presentation materials
Financing & Capital Structure
- Build and maintain debt schedules, model senior and mezzanine structures, and support lender reporting and covenant monitoring
- Support processes related to fundraising and refinancing
Asset Management
- Support the execution of asset repositioning, value creation, improvement initiatives, and the implementation of broader strategies
- Track actual performance against underwriting
- Support periodic asset reviews
Reporting
- Prepare clear, insightful dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate complex data findings to stakeholders and senior management
- Support reporting to stakeholders, including the preparation and delivery of presentations
- Assist with compliance reporting

Background
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or another quantitative field
- A degree from a top-tier, internationally recognised university or a relevant professional financial certification (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is preferred
- Experience in investment banking, private equity, or the real estate sector is advantageous
Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities
- Strong work ethic
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or the ability to quickly become proficient in it
- Robust understanding of financial fundamentals, with the capability to interpret and analyse complex financial data, prepare financial projections, and develop valuation models
- Strong commitment to personal and professional development
- A desire to work in a team environment with dynamic roles
- Proficient to intermediate-level programming skills, preferably in Python
