Investment Analyst

Dartmouth have been mandated on a search for an Investment Analyst for a high-growth Private Equity backed Digital Infrastructure platform. You will help drive end-to-end financial modelling, valuation, and investment strategy for complex projects.

Work directly with senior leadership on deals, investment committee outputs, and portfolio performance. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role with strong exposure to transactions, analytics, and decision-making.

London office (with European travel as required)

Reporting line

Work closely with CSAO, CFO and CIO

Position overview

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role providing critical modelling and analytical support to the platform senior leadership team—specifically the CFO, CSAO and CIO – and interacting with a premier global investment management real estate team, providing key outputs and materials for the Fund Investment Committee process.

The successful candidate will help the Senior Associate own and continuously improve a “master model” for sites and related analytical tools that underpin bidding, valuation and capital allocation decisions. Maintain and refine the key output materials that inform senior management and investment committee decisions, as well as develop KPI dashboard materials for senior management.

Key responsibilities

  • Full lifecycle financial modelling (master site model ownership)
  • Strategic decision and IC support (IC materials)
  • PE-style dashboards / reporting
  • Workflow improvement and automation
  • Deal origination, pipeline management and execution

Key role requirements

Experience

  • c.3 years’ professional experience within an infrastructure fund, real estate fund, private equity, investment banking, transaction advisory, or similar analytical role.
  • Background in commercial real estate transactions, acquisitions, underwriting and investment committee environments.
  • Experience operating across multiple European markets.

Technical skills

  • Expert-level financial modelling skills; comfortable building dynamic models from scratch, maintaining a complex “master model” and producing decision-ready outputs.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential.
  • Ability to manage and interpret large/complex datasets to create clear visual reporting and dashboards (tooling may include Excel-based dashboards and/or BI tools).

Sector knowledge

  • Direct experience in real estate, infrastructure or real assets preferred

Academic background

  • Strong academic credentials including in Finance, Economics, Engineering or another quantitative discipline.
