About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join our newly formed investment team at High Finance (UK) Limited. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic development of our investment portfolio, supporting the company's long-term growth objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting comprehensive portfolio analysis, manager research, and investment reporting. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Risk, and Actuarial departments to ensure adherence to governance standards and regulatory requirements. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of asset management, and experience within Lloyd's market environments.

Qualifications
- Relevant experience in investment analysis, preferably within asset management, insurance investments, or related financial fields.
- Experience working within the Lloyd’s market is essential.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with investment platforms.
- Knowledge of ESG principles and sustainable investment practices is considered an advantage.
- A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CFA or equivalent being advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to portfolio analysis, manager research, and strategic decision-making within a collaborative team environment.
- Monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and asset allocation, providing detailed analysis and reporting to senior management.
- Conduct thorough research and due diligence on investment managers, funds, and various asset classes to inform investment decisions.
- Prepare comprehensive investment proposals, committee papers, and strategic analyses to support governance processes.
- Produce detailed investment reports for senior management and governance committees, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Risk, and Actuarial teams to support investment governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on market trends, economic developments, and ESG factors relevant to investment strategies.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of investment reporting tools and processes to improve efficiency and transparency.
