We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven Investment Analyst to join our Corporate Development team, playing a key role in executing M&A transactions, data center land acquisitions, and strategic growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform from scratch detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables, and LBO analysis
- Support internal and external daily deal execution and project management of both M&A and data center site selection transactions
- Prepare presentation books, management presentations, Executive Leadership Team (ELT)/Board materials, and other senior-executive updates for use in corporate finance transactions, integration planning, or strategic dialogue
- Perform detailed combination, transaction structuring analysis and other financial analysis
- Interact with senior team members and client management teams on a daily basis to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives
- Support development of integration workplans, synergy tracking models, and implementation updates ensuring alignment between diligence findings, deal model assumptions, and operational execution
- Drive issue resolution during due diligence and integration phases by consolidating stakeholder inputs, preparing decision-ready materials, and ensuring timely delivery of critical analyses across teams

- Proven top 1% financial modelling / valuation skills, PowerPoint presentation, AI, and experience in M&A and data center land acquisition
- Relevant full-time prior experience (> 2 years) in investment banking, corporate development, Big 4 Corporate Finance Teams as part of a country or sector coverage team, with a track record of assisting with executing M&A, corporate finance, and data center land acquisition transactions
- Ability to comfortably interact with investors, consultants, and Colt DCS management team in-person and virtually in a professional and mature manner
- Ability to handle pressure whilst multitasking on numerous projects across various time zones
- High level of work ethic, comfortable working in a team environment
- High level of attention to detail and developed time management skills
- Highly organised, detail orientated and proactive
