Position: UK-based Investment Analyst
Type: Contract
Compensation: $150/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Clean, organize, and reconcile holdings data across public and private investments.
- Gather and validate market data, company information, benchmark data, and other relevant financial inputs.
- Calculate performance, risk metrics, asset-class exposures, and benchmark-relative results.
- Support private-company valuation and other financial-modeling work.
- Produce clear tables, charts, and exhibits for inclusion in investment presentations.
- Maintain a comprehensive source log documenting data origins, assumptions, and calculation methodologies.
- Assist with portfolio analysis, holdings reviews, and market research.
- Support the preparation of simplified trade instructions and post-trade documentation.
- Conduct quality-control checks across models, calculations, charts, and presentation materials.
- Respond quickly to reviewer feedback and update analytical outputs as required.

Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3–4 years of professional investment experience.
- Experience in both Investment Banking and buy-side investing.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial models, market-data exports, and large datasets.
- Understanding of financial statements, valuation, portfolio-performance analysis, and investment research.
- Experience producing charts, tables, source logs, and senior-level presentation materials.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain clear documentation of data, sources, and assumptions.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Preferred
- Buy-side experience within Private Equity or a Hedge Fund, with Hedge Fund experience preferred.
- Prior experience with financial screening exercises, AI evaluation, or human-data projects.
