Aria Partners are working with a multi strategy investment manager that is looking to hire an Investment Analyst into its London based team.

Sitting within a lean investment team and reporting directly to an experienced Portfolio Manager, the role will focus predominantly on hedge fund manager research, fund selection and portfolio monitoring, alongside exposure to a broader range of alternative investments.

The role will include:

  • Researching and assessing hedge fund managers across a range of strategies
  • Conducting manager meetings and ongoing qualitative and quantitative due diligence
  • Monitoring existing investments, performance and portfolio risks
  • Producing investment research and recommendations for the wider investment team
  • Supporting portfolio construction, reporting and investment analysis
  • Exposure to a growing digital assets strategy
  • Broader exposure to private markets, secondaries and other alternative investments
  • Working closely with senior investment professionals across the wider group

We're looking for someone with roughly 3-6 years' experience within manager research, fund selection or a closely related investment role at another fund of funds manager.

Relevant backgrounds could include:

  • Hedge fund-of-funds
  • Multi-manager asset management
  • Investment consulting
  • OCIO
  • Private banking
  • Alternatives research

Existing hedge fund research experience would be particularly relevant. Exposure to private markets or digital assets would also be advantageous.

The role is likely to suit someone who wants broad exposure across alternatives, direct interaction with senior decision-makers and the opportunity to develop within a small investment team.
