About the Company
Investment Professional | London | Family-Backed Investment Platform
We're partnering with a well-established, London-based investment firm with Nordic roots, advising a family office and a network of professional partners. The team invests across private and public markets, with a focus on asset-intensive businesses and long-term value creation. They're looking to add an investment professional to their London team.
About the Role
- Source, screen and evaluate new investment opportunities across direct and fund investments
- Build financial models and carry out valuation and detailed company analysis
- Support transaction execution, from initial review through due diligence to closing
- Prepare investment committee materials and contribute to portfolio monitoring
- Work closely with senior team members and take on increasing responsibility

Responsibilities
- Source, screen and evaluate new investment opportunities across direct and fund investments

Qualifications
- 2-5 years' experience in M&A / investment banking, equity research, or a comparable investing role
- Based in the UK, with a strong academic record
Required Skills
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills
- Commercial judgement and a genuine interest in investing over the long term
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with a collaborative approach in a small team
Preferred Skills
- Nordic connection (language, network or market experience) is a plus but not essential
