Job Title
My client provides asset-based credit solutions which help companies scale through critical growth milestones. The new Associate will work as a core member of the Investment Team and contribute to a broad range of functions, including credit analysis, financial statement/model review, scenario modelling, deal execution, portfolio monitoring, and certain sourcing activities. My client is looking for an individual passionate about fintech with a strong understanding of asset-backed corporate finance fundamentals. This role is based in London and requires 5 days per week in the Mayfair offices.

Responsibilities:
- Underwrite investment opportunities utilizing collateral-specific credit analyses (e.g., building collections/charge-off curves, measuring loss coverages, calculating investment returns)
- Review diligence materials with a focus on evaluating and manipulating loan tapes to perform credit analysis
- Exhibit subject matter expertise across financial statement analysis and fixed-income transaction mechanics
- Work fluently with large and diverse datasets
- Prepare investment memos with strong attention to detail
- Participate in and support various aspects of the deal execution process
- Monitor portfolio companies to ensure accurate reporting and generate performance reviews
- Aid in deal sourcing by identifying emerging companies and organizing initial meetings
- Develop various pieces of marketing content to build the firm's brand

Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience across private credit investing, investment banking, debt capital markets / leveraged finance, structured / asset-based finance, restructuring
- Strong knowledge of credit underwriting and accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills
