Investment Associate - Growth Equity - Tier 1

Location: London, UK

The Opportunity

Our client is a leading growth equity investment firm focused on backing high-quality, profitable businesses across Europe and North America. The firm primarily invests in market-leading data, software, information services, and technology-enabled services companies, partnering with exceptional management teams to accelerate long-term value creation.

As part of its continued growth, the firm is seeking an Investment Associate to join its London investment team. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on high-quality transactions while gaining exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including deal execution, financial analysis, due diligence, portfolio support, and exit planning.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and screen new investment opportunities.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models, valuation analyses, and investment returns.
  • Perform commercial, financial, and operational due diligence.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and materials for the Investment Committee.
  • Conduct detailed market, industry, and competitive research.
  • Support transaction execution alongside management teams, advisors, lenders, and legal counsel.
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation initiatives.
  • Assist with exit preparations and strategic portfolio projects.

Candidate Profile

  • 1–3 years' experience in M&A Investment Banking at a Bulge Bracket or Elite Boutique investment bank.
  • Outstanding financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Genuine passion for growth equity investing and partnering with high-growth businesses.
  • Strong commercial judgement and intellectual curiosity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • High-energy, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with an excellent academic record.
