Join the investment team of an international venture capital platform that backs ambitious founders from day one. With a presence across multiple global hubs, the platform partners with founders on business model validation, initial capital, expansion support and follow on funding, and has helped create and invest in a large and growing portfolio of startups spanning AI, consumer, fintech, deep tech and healthtech.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an Associate to join the firm's early growth stage fund, working closely with senior members of the investment team to source, evaluate and support high potential startups from Series A through Series C, with a primary focus on Series A and B. Based in London and focused on European opportunities, you will be involved across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and diligence through to deal execution and post investment portfolio support. This is a hands on role suited to someone who is intellectually curious, commercially sharp and excited to work at the intersection of technology, business and entrepreneurship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate high quality investment opportunities globally, with a focus on Europe.
  • Analyze markets, industries and technology trends across sectors including AI (infrastructure, vertical and horizontal applications), consumer, fintech, deep tech and healthtech.
  • Lead and support investment diligence, both quantitative and qualitative, including market sizing, competitive analysis, business model assessment, financial analysis (unit economics, retention, LTV/CAC, returns) and product and technology assessment (roadmap, scalability, feasibility).
  • Prepare and present investment memos and deep dive analyses for internal decision making.
  • Support deal execution, coordinating with founders, co investors and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with portfolio companies post investment on strategic, product and operational initiatives.
  • Build and manage relationships with founders, operators and ecosystem partners across the region.
  • Help improve and scale internal investment processes and tooling, with particular emphasis on applying AI to sourcing, diligence and knowledge management.
  • Independently drive communications and processes on behalf of senior team members, both internally and with founders and other ecosystem stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
