Linear Partners are working with a Leading Investment Banking Boutique who are looking to add in London. It’s a strong opportunity to join a well-established platform with consistent deal flow, offering good exposure to execution and client interaction across a range of sectors.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting the execution of M&A transactions across buy-side and sell-side processes
  • Building and working with financial models, including valuations and transaction analysis
  • Preparing client materials such as pitch books, IMs, and presentations
  • Conducting company and industry research across sectors
  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of transaction processes, coordinating with clients and advisors
  • Working closely with senior team members on execution and deliverables
  • Supporting origination work, including preparation of pitch materials
  • Managing multiple workstreams and deadlines across live projects
  • Ensuring consistently high-quality, accurate output

  • 1–3 years’ experience in investment banking, transaction services, or a related field
  • Strong academic background from a good university
  • Solid financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Good understanding of accounting fundamentals
  • Some exposure to M&A or transaction environments
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing clean, accurate work
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
