We are working with a global investment bank to recruit an Analyst into its Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) team in London.
This is an opportunity to develop your transaction experience across a diverse sector, supporting M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory assignments. You will work closely with senior bankers and international colleagues, contributing to both live deal execution and new business origination.
The role
As part of the TMT team, your responsibilities will include:
- Transaction execution: Supporting M&A and financing transactions, including due diligence, preparation of transaction materials and coordination with clients and external advisers.
- Financial analysis: Building and maintaining financial models, analysing company performance and conducting valuations using DCF, comparable company and precedent transaction methodologies.
- Client materials: Preparing pitchbooks, management presentations and other materials to support client discussions and transaction execution.
- Sector research: Tracking industry developments, researching businesses and identifying potential acquisition targets, buyers and financing opportunities across TMT.

Your background
We are interested in speaking with candidates who bring:
- Previous analyst-level experience in investment banking, corporate finance or a transaction-focused advisory role.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation and accounting skills, supported by excellent attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and manage competing deadlines.
- A genuine interest in technology, media and telecommunications. Previous TMT transaction experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.

The opportunity
The role offers exposure to domestic and cross-border transactions, the opportunity to build specialist sector knowledge, and continued technical development within a global banking platform. You will work alongside experienced deal teams and develop the analytical, execution and client-facing skills needed to progress in investment banking.
