Role Description
This is a full-time Investment Banking Analyst role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with a hybrid working arrangement that allows for some work from home. The analyst will support capital advisory and placement mandates by building detailed financial models, preparing high-quality pitch decks and investor materials, and conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis on companies, funds, and market sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting transaction execution, assisting with due diligence, contributing to valuation analysis, and helping coordinate communication between clients and investors. The role involves synthesizing complex information into clear, investor-ready insights, maintaining accurate process documentation, and collaborating closely with senior team members on live mandates. The analyst will also help monitor market trends, investor activity, and deal structures in Europe, the UK, the US, and the Gulf to inform client positioning and outreach.

Qualifications
- Strong finance and investment banking skills, including familiarity with capital markets, corporate finance concepts, and transaction processes.
- Advanced financial modeling abilities, with experience in building integrated models, scenario analysis, and valuation (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions).
- Robust analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial statements, performance metrics, and market data.
- Experience conducting due diligence on companies or funds, including gathering information, assessing risks, and summarizing findings clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise investor materials and explain complex topics to varied stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial databases or data providers is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field; relevant postgraduate studies or professional qualifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
- Ability to work in a small-team environment, manage multiple workstreams under time pressure
