About the Company

Nassau Street Partners is an independent capital advisory firm serving founders, management teams, and institutional clients on capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alternatives, and other complex financial transactions.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Associate to support the execution of capital-raising and M&A engagements. The ideal candidate has strong financial and analytical skills, produces high-quality client materials, and can manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of capital-raising, M&A, and strategic advisory engagements
  • Build and review financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials
  • Prepare pitch books, teasers, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and Deal Decision Review materials
  • Conduct company, industry, market, and investor research
  • Develop and maintain investor, lender, and strategic buyer target lists
  • Coordinate due diligence requests, data rooms, and transaction documentation
  • Track deal progress, deadlines, deliverables, and follow-up items
  • Participate in client, investor, and internal transaction calls
  • Work closely with senior bankers and other team members throughout the engagement process
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and organized transaction files
  • Use AI and other available tools to improve research, analysis, and work-product quality

Qualifications

  • Two or more years of experience in investment banking, capital advisory, private equity, transaction advisory, corporate finance, or a related field
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, accounting, and analytical skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience preparing professional transaction and client-facing materials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a remote team
