Senior Analyst / Associate | Investment Banking (M&A) | London

The Role
The successful candidate will join an established Investment Banking team, working across the execution of M&A transactions from initial pitch and preparation through to due diligence, negotiation, and completion. The position can be appointed at Senior Analyst or Associate level depending on experience. Previous hands-on M&A / Investment Banking experience is required, with the opportunity to take increasing ownership of transaction execution and client interaction.

About the Role
- Execute buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions
- Build financial models and undertake detailed valuation analysis
- Complete DCF, trading comparables, and precedent transaction analysis
- Prepare pitch books, information memoranda, and transaction materials
- Undertake company, sector, and market analysis
- Coordinate due diligence and manage transaction workstreams
- Work directly with clients, management teams, investors, and advisers
- Support management presentations and buyer interactions
- Take ownership of key elements of transactions through to completion
- Support senior bankers across pitches and business development
- At Associate level, provide greater oversight and guidance to junior Analysts

Your Experience
- Previous M&A / Investment Banking experience is required
- Currently operating at Analyst, Senior Analyst, or Associate level
- Hands-on experience executing live M&A transactions
- Strong financial modelling and valuation capability
- Experience working across multiple stages of the M&A process
- Strong understanding of DCF, trading comparables, and precedent transactions
- Experience preparing transaction materials and client presentations
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint capability
- Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail
- Confident working with senior bankers, clients, and management teams
