Metis Search are mandated by a leading global investment bank to add a Senior Analyst or Associate to its Materials team in London.
The firm has a highly regarded global franchise across the Materials sector, with a strong track record of advising on high-profile and complex transactions. The team covers a broad range of subsectors, including Metals & Mining, Chemicals, Building Materials, and other industrial materials, offering exposure to a diverse range of strategic and M&A mandates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of M&A transactions across the Materials sector, including Metals & Mining.
- Build and analyse financial models and valuations.
- Prepare client presentations, board materials, and marketing documents.
- Conduct detailed industry, company, and market analysis.
- Work closely with senior bankers, clients, and external advisers throughout transactions.

Key Requirements:
- 2-6 years’ experience in investment banking.
- Strong technical foundation in financial modelling and valuation.
- Demonstrated experience across live M&A transactions.
- Strong analytical and commercial judgement.
- Clear and confident communicator with the ability to work effectively within a high-performing team.
