Associate – Infrastructure & Energy Transition M&A | London

A well-established investment banking team in London is expanding its Power, Utilities & Infrastructure (PUI) practice. The team advises major corporate clients, infrastructure funds, and energy developers on high-profile M&A, cross-border acquisitions, and capital raises across energy transition, decarbonization, and digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day execution of sell-side and buy-side M&A mandates within infrastructure, utilities, and clean energy sectors.
  • Build and oversee complex financial models (DCF, LBO, and asset-level valuation frameworks) tailored to infrastructure cash flows.
  • Coordinate cross-functional advisory teams (legal, tax, and technical consultants) and manage comprehensive due diligence processes.
  • Draft high-impact pitch books, information memorandums (IMs), and management presentations for prospective clients and strategic buyers.
  • Manage, mentor, and upskill junior analysts, ensuring rigorous quality control on all financial analysis and execution deliverables.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
