Our client, a well-established corporate finance advisory firm, is looking for an Associate Director to join their Technology sector team, focused on private M&A (sell-side and buy-side). This is a senior, client-facing role for an experienced dealmaker ready to lead execution, own client relationships, and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead execution of private M&A transactions (sell-side and buy-side) for technology clients
- Manage financial models, valuations and transaction materials (IMs, management presentations)
- Act as senior day-to-day client contact, building trusted relationships with founders and management teams
- Run due diligence processes, coordinating legal, financial and other advisors
- Support origination and business development — pitching, market mapping, prospect research
- Mentor and review the work of Analysts and Executives
- Manage deal timetables, workstreams and stakeholder communication

About You
- Significant private M&A / corporate finance experience, ideally with technology sector exposure
- Strong financial modelling and transaction execution skills
- Track record managing senior client relationships and mentoring junior staff
- Experience contributing to origination and new business
- Relevant qualification (ACA, CFA) desirable but not essential
