About the Opportunity
Our client is a highly regarded international investment bank with a strong presence across Europe and a long-standing track record of advising leading healthcare businesses on strategic transactions. Due to continued growth and a strong deal pipeline, they are seeking an Associate to join their London-based Healthcare Investment Banking team.
This is an opportunity to become part of a collaborative and entrepreneurial team, working on complex cross-border M&A transactions for private and public healthcare companies across a range of subsectors including healthcare services, pharma services, medical technology, life sciences, diagnostics, and digital health.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of sell-side, buy-side, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates across the healthcare sector.
- Build and maintain complex financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
- Prepare pitch books, information memoranda, management presentations, and board materials.
- Conduct detailed industry, company, and market analysis to identify trends and transaction opportunities.
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with clients, counterparties, and advisers.
- Take ownership of workstreams and mentor Analysts within the team.
- Develop meaningful client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

Candidate Profile
- 3-6 years of investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction advisory experience.
- Strong M&A execution experience gained within an investment bank, advisory boutique, or equivalent environment.
- Exposure to healthcare transactions is preferred, although candidates from adjacent sectors with a strong interest in healthcare will also be considered.
- Advanced financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced transaction environment.
- Demonstrated academic excellence and a strong attention to detail.
