About the Company

We are working with a leading international investment banking platform looking to add an Associate to its Infrastructure team in London. This is an opportunity to join a highly active advisory team working on complex transactions across the broader infrastructure and energy landscape.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with senior bankers and clients across M&A, strategic advisory, and financing situations, with exposure to corporates, financial sponsors, and infrastructure investors.

Responsibilities

  • Execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions
  • Financial modelling, valuation, and transaction analysis
  • Preparation of client presentations, transaction materials, and strategic analysis
  • Supporting senior team members in the origination and execution of new mandates
  • Coordinating due diligence and transaction workstreams
  • Conducting detailed company, sector, and market analysis
  • Working directly with corporate and financial sponsor clients
  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team

Qualifications

  • Approximately 3-6 years of relevant Investment Banking / M&A experience
  • Current experience at Analyst 3 through Associate level

Required Skills

  • Strong transaction execution experience across M&A and/or related advisory assignments
  • Relevant exposure to Power & Utilities, Infrastructure, Energy, Renewables, or Energy Transition
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Experience working on live transactions from initial analysis through execution
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong academic track record
  • Professional fluency in English
