The Role

The successful candidate will join an established Investment Banking team, supporting the execution of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions across a range of sectors and international markets. This opportunity is suited to an experienced M&A professional with a minimum of three years' relevant experience, looking to develop their international transaction exposure and take greater responsibility across deal execution and client relationships.

About the Role

  • Execute domestic and cross-border buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions
  • Build and review financial models and valuation analysis
  • Undertake DCF, trading comparables and precedent transaction analysis
  • Prepare pitch books, information memoranda and transaction materials
  • Coordinate international due diligence processes and transaction workstreams
  • Work with clients, investors, management teams and advisers across multiple jurisdictions
  • Support transaction structuring, negotiations and deal execution
  • Conduct company, sector and international market analysis
  • Manage key elements of transactions from initial engagement through to completion
  • Work closely with Directors and Managing Directors on live mandates
  • Support pitches, client development and business development activity
  • Provide guidance to junior Analysts where appropriate

Your Experience

  • Minimum three years' experience within M&A / Investment Banking is essential
  • Previous cross-border M&A transaction experience is required
  • Strong experience executing buy-side and/or sell-side M&A transactions
  • Proven financial modelling and valuation capability
  • Strong understanding of DCF, trading comparables and precedent transactions
  • Experience preparing transaction materials
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail
  • Confident working with senior bankers, clients and management teams
  • Additional language skills advantageous but not essential
