Investment Banking Associate – Technology M&A (London)

A leading US mid-market investment bank is expanding its London Technology M&A team and is seeking an Associate with 4 years of M&A / corporate finance experience.

You’ll work across the full transaction lifecycle — from pitch and origination support through to due diligence, valuation, and closing — taking real ownership of live mandates and acting as a key day-to-day contact for clients, lawyers, and accountants.

Key responsibilities:

  • Execute sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions for European tech companies.
  • Build and own complex financial models (DCF, LBO, merger/contribution, accretion/dilution, comps)
  • Prepare teasers, CIMs, management presentations, and pitchbooks for tech clients and sponsors
  • Lead due diligence, coordinate with legal/accounting advisers, and manage buyer/seller communications.
  • Conduct sector and company research to support origination and proactive client coverage.
  • Mentor analysts and ensure high-quality, timely delivery across multiple concurrent deals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
