Associate

A leading independent mid-market advisory platform is seeking high-calibre Associates (3-5 years’ experience) to join its London team. The firm advises entrepreneurs, private equity sponsors, and corporate clients on complex mergers & acquisitions and strategic transactions across multiple sectors.

This is an opportunity to join a highly active deal team with significant responsibility, direct client exposure, and involvement across the full transaction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute sell-side and buy-side M&A mandates from origination through completion
  • Build and manage detailed financial models and valuation analyses
  • Prepare client presentations, marketing materials, and transaction documentation
  • Coordinate due diligence processes and manage data rooms
  • Liaise directly with management teams, investors, and counterparties
  • Mentor junior team members and oversee workstreams

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or transaction services
  • Demonstrable experience working on multiple completed end-to-end transactions
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to manage several workstreams under tight deadlines
  • High attention to detail and commercial judgement
