Analyst / Associate - EMEA Infrastructure SIG

As an Analyst / Associate in the EMEA Infrastructure SIG investment banking team in London, you will work with market-leading professionals at the heart of the leading global investment bank.

The Infrastructure SIG investment banking team focuses on the investment banking coverage of Infrastructure Funds and the infra pockets of Sovereign Wealth Funds and Pension Funds. These clients are highly sophisticated investors, and the breadth of products and services we provide is extensive—spanning industries, geographies, and products (M&A, Leveraged Finance / DCM, ECM, structured products / derivatives). We offer debt, equity, and M&A advisory services to our clients as part of their routine activities of acquiring businesses (majority and minority stakes), refinancing / recapitalizing existing investments, or monetizing their mature investments via sale or IPO.

You will participate in the "full cycle" of transactional origination and execution including preparing marketing pitches, reviewing and formulating financial analysis, preparing and presenting internal committee memoranda and client presentations.

You will develop a deep knowledge of the infrastructure funds alongside strong function skills in the major areas of investment banking and will demonstrate the ability to become a senior officer who is capable of generating and executing their own transactions. Specifically, you will get exposure to a broad set of

Sectors:

  • Digital infrastructure (data centers, communication towers, fibre and optical cable networks)
  • Transportation infrastructure (air ports, sea ports and container terminals, toll roads, EV charging, rail and mass transit and parking)

  • Mission-critical services and social infrastructure

Clients:

  • Financial institutions including infrastructure investors, private equity firms, diversified alternative asset managers, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices and insurance capital providers

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
