Role Description
This position sits within Bank of America’s Natural Resources & Energy Transition Investment Banking team that encompasses power, energy, metals & mining, and energy transition, based in London. As part of the NET team, you will participate in the full cycle of transactions, including idea generation, origination and execution. You will gain significant exposure to clients, senior bankers, peers and expand your analytical, communication and origination capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Project management in live M&A transactions
- Financial analysis including valuation, benchmarking and merger modelling
- Preparation of management and board materials, information memos and other transaction documents
- Building relationships with colleagues across product, sector and regional teams
- Supporting due diligence and deal documentation
- Research on the industry and companies as well as supporting idea generation
- Day to day coordination of junior execution team
- Supporting senior bankers in day-to-day client coverage
- Mentor and train junior personnel

What we are looking for
- Previous Investment Banking experience at a leading financial institution or corporate
- Professional maturity and experience to interact directly with client and drive origination and execution
- Ability to manage several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
- High attention to detail, diligence and conscientiousness
- Strong and proven financial analysis skills and ability to understand complex financial models
- Strategic and creative thinking; strong written and oral communications skills
