Job Purpose
BTIG is seeking a Vice President to join its Investment Banking European Coverage Group in London. The candidate will be involved in all facets of BTIG's investment banking activities, including M&A, private and public offerings, and other advisory services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate potential to take on a significant role in deal execution by providing day-to-day support to senior bankers and clients while also providing professional guidance to junior team members. BTIG offers a unique environment which combines a highly entrepreneurial platform focused on growth companies with the analytical rigor and transaction experience of “bulge bracket” investment banks.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordination of transaction processes, including capital markets, private capital and advisory transactions
- Preparation of offering memoranda, proposals and other written materials for meetings with clients
- Lead the preparation of company valuations, financial models and industry-specific business development presentations
- Perform research and various analyses in support of new business generation
- Organise and participate in marketing and client meetings
- Leading and participating in drafting sessions for transactions
- Conducting industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions
- Interact with corporate clients, private equity firms, venture capital firms and senior bankers
- Assisting in the development and continued cultivation of client relationships
- Identifying new business opportunities and developing tailored recommendations for clients
- Supervising and mentoring junior bankers

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university
- Minimum 4 years of investment banking experience from coverage & products groups such as Consumer & Retail, Industrials, Business Services, TMT, M&A
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively in presentations, as well as express complex financial strategies in an organised and articulate manner
- Strong work ethic, detail orientation and a passion for excellence
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly organised, proactive, energetic and decisive, with high level of integrity
- Ability to comfortably interact with business clients and management
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and proficiency with relevant banking-related databases / applications (Bloomberg, CapIQ, etc.)
- The ability to excel in both team and self-directed settings
- Fluent in English and ideally in German on a professional level
