Investment Banking Specialist
Location: Remote
Engagement Type: Contractor (Part-Time)
Compensation: $100–$200/hour
About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for experienced finance professionals interested in contributing to advanced AI research and evaluation projects. The role involves applying deep financial expertise to improve the reasoning, accuracy, and decision-making capabilities of next-generation AI systems used across financial applications.
Professionals with backgrounds in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Equity Research, Corporate Development, Investment Management, or Strategic Finance are especially encouraged to apply.
Ideal Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital, Investment Banking, Equity Research, Corporate Development, Investment Management, or Strategic Finance.
- Strong analytical reasoning, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Experience producing investment memos, valuation analyses, due diligence reports, financial models, or market research.
- Excellent written communication, professional editing, and business writing skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and independent research experience.
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master's, JD, PhD, or equivalent) is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Analyze, review, and edit AI-generated financial content for accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
- Develop, refine, and evaluate AI prompts related to financial analysis, valuation, and investment decision-making.
- Assess and annotate financial data, reports, and model outputs using detailed evaluation frameworks.
- Author and review investment memos, due diligence reports, research summaries, and technical documentation.
- Evaluate AI outputs for logical consistency, financial accuracy, and professional quality standards.
- Conduct independent research and fact-checking to validate information used by AI systems.
- Provide feedback to improve prompt engineering and AI model performance across finance use cases.
