About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for experienced Investment Banking professionals interested in contributing to advanced AI research and evaluation projects. The role focuses on evaluating how effectively AI systems perform real-world investment banking work. Rather than producing traditional banking deliverables, you'll apply your professional expertise to define what excellent work looks like, develop task-specific evaluation criteria, and assess completed work samples using rigorous, well-reasoned judgment.
Responsibilities
- Design precise, task-specific evaluation criteria for real-world banking deliverables, including financial models, valuation analyses, pitch decks, CIMs, deal memoranda, and board or investment committee materials.
- Evaluate and score AI-generated and human-created work samples against established criteria.
- Provide detailed written justifications explaining the rationale behind each score.
- Apply consistent, evidence-based judgment to ensure evaluations are reproducible and defensible.
- Assess work for financial accuracy, analytical rigor, commercial judgment, presentation quality, and adherence to professional banking standards.
- Incorporate structured feedback from senior reviewers and continuously refine evaluation standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
