CIBC Capital Markets London – Investment Banking Summer Analyst Programme

As an Investment Banking Summer Analyst you will have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in an orientation session to learn more about the bank and our Capital Markets business here in the region
  • Work within deal teams on live transactions, gaining experience across different products, industries and clients
  • Assist in idea generation, financial and investment analysis, preparation of pitches, client materials, and sector analysis
  • Work on specific projects across various industries throughout the origination and execution phase to the asset management
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings.

Key Requirements:

  • Passion for M&A and corporate finance
  • Creativity, strong work ethic, excellent analytical, problem-solving and numerical skills
  • Interest in financial modelling, investment and market analysis
  • Student in a finance/quantitative discipline with strong academic results
  • Must be in final or penultimate year of studies, please confirm your expected graduation date on your CV and application
  • A team player who can communicate complex ideas simply and effectively
  • Fluent in English and the right to work in the UK.
  • Must be available from June 2027 - September 2027 when the programme is running.
