About us

Equiteq is an elite global investment bank operating as a trusted advisor to companies transforming the world through technology and specialty services. Since 2005, we have completed hundreds of M&A transactions and advisory mandates, unlocking billions in value for our clients across the technology services and specialty consulting sector.

With offices in New York, Boston, Atlanta, London, Singapore, Sydney and Bengaluru, we are sector specialists who develop deep relationships with our clients to help them grow and realise value.

We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service, fostering personal and professional development, and building a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture.

About this opportunity

We are offering a 10-week summer internship, starting Monday 5 July 2027, with our high-performing M&A team in London. The role will be a challenging mix of on-the-job training and structured input, and an exciting opportunity to build connections with market-leading experts.

We are seeking a select number of hardworking final-year undergraduate or Masters students, passionate about investment banking and forging a career based on sector insight and delivery excellence.

You're likely to get involved with analysing markets, creating complex financial models, producing research and collateral, and performing valuations on live and anticipated transactions. We'll provide you with a dedicated mentor and access to senior bankers throughout your internship to provide guidance and advice. You'll also gain unparalleled early exposure to the investment banking process within a boutique environment, acquiring strong financial analysis and client service skills along the way.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong academic record in business, accounting, economics, or finance. We will consider other disciplines if you've had previous practical experience in a similar industry.
  • Currently a 3rd/4th year undergraduate or Masters student.
  • Previous internship within accounting, transaction services, or investment banking is a distinct advantage.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications; knowledge of specific investment banking databases (e.g. CapitalIQ, Pitchbook) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Great presentation skills; both oral and written.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
