We are representing a long standing client of ours, who is a growing international middle-market investment banking boutique providing M&A and strategic advisory services to businesses across a range of knowledge-intensive and technology-led sectors.
The firm has an established international presence and works closely with founders, management teams, shareholders and financial sponsors on a range of strategic and corporate transactions.
The platform offers an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment, with significant exposure to senior stakeholders and opportunities for accelerated career development.
About the Role:
As a Vice President, you will play a key role across both transaction execution and client engagement. You will act as a senior member of deal teams, taking ownership of complex workstreams, managing junior team members and working closely with senior bankers and clients throughout the M&A process.

The role will also provide increasing exposure to origination, business development and new client opportunities, making it well suited to an individual looking to develop both their execution and commercial skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of day-to-day client relationships across live transactions
- Lead and manage complex transaction workstreams from initial analysis through to completion
- Coordinate Associates, Analysts and other advisors to ensure high-quality execution
- Apply strong technical and commercial judgement to transaction-related issues
- Prepare and review financial models, valuations, presentations and other transaction materials
- Manage, mentor and develop junior members of the team
- Present and communicate confidently with senior client stakeholders and external advisors
- Support pitches, business development and origination initiatives
- Contribute to identifying and developing new client and transaction opportunities
- Work closely with senior bankers to drive transactions and deliver high-quality client outcomes

Knowledge & Experience:
- 6+ years of investment banking experience
- Strong M&A execution experience across the full transaction lifecycle
- Excellent technical skills across financial modelling, valuation and transaction analysis
- Strong project management and ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
- Proven experience managing and developing junior team members
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- Comfortable engaging directly with senior client stakeholders and external advisors
- Commercially minded with an interest in developing further within origination and business development
Experience within TMT, Technology, Software, IT Services, Consulting or other knowledge-intensive sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential
