Investment Manager Location: Bristol, Hybrid

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly respected private banking and wealth management business as an Investment Manager within its growing Bristol office.

Working with high-net-worth individuals, families and trusts, you'll be responsible for managing discretionary investment portfolios while developing long-term client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced investment professional looking to join a collaborative business that combines traditional relationship management with a modern investment approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients.
  • Deliver tailored discretionary investment advice aligned to clients' objectives and risk profiles.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships through exceptional client service.
  • Identify opportunities to grow assets under management through referrals and business development.
  • Work closely with Wealth Planners, Private Bankers and other specialists to provide holistic client solutions.
  • Attend client meetings, networking events and professional introducer meetings.
  • Ensure all activity is completed in line with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.

About You

  • Previous experience managing discretionary investment portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of investment markets and portfolio construction.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.
  • Commercially minded with a track record of business development.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Relevant investment qualifications (Level 4 or above, Chartered status advantageous).
