About the Role
We’re looking for an Investment Manager to help lead the growth of our investment business. You’ll be supporting our existing Investment Management team and will be involved in a wide range of responsibilities, enabling you to grow and develop as our business scales. Saltus Partners was founded in 2004 and has grown organically and through a small number of carefully integrated acquisitions. Originally the business started out as an investment manager and has now developed the financial planning side of the offering, putting this at the forefront of the client relationship.
Today Saltus manages and advises on over £11 billion of client assets, acquired through a combination of organic business growth and corporate acquisitions.

Role Responsibilities
We are looking for someone who first and foremost is passionate about investment management. We are seeking to catalyse our organic growth, having invested significantly in our infrastructure and our people, and given a strong investment track record. We aim to provide a market-leading proposition in serving our clients, with our Investment Management team driving our organic growth profile.
You’ll have responsibility for a wide range of duties, including the following:
- Managing investment portfolios on a significant existing client book which is made up of private clients, charities, trusts and companies.
- Growing your client book through referrals and new prospect meetings. New prospects will be both centrally-generated and self-generated.
- Participating in the investment team meetings, and contributing to portfolio management decisions.
- Disseminating information from the investment team to the wider company.
- Generating written and video investment content for a wider audience.
Skills and Experience
You’ll be passionate about and able to demonstrate a strong understanding of investment management and the requirements of the role. You’ll have strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a record of building successful relationships across multiple stakeholder groups. Relevant investment management qualifications are advantageous. We’re looking for someone who is a high performer, able to add value at all levels across the team and when working with the wider business. An interest in or experience of generating new business would also be beneficial.
You’ll be keen to benchmark your own performance against industry best practice, and will champion strong sales growth, focusing on the new business opportunities that enable our business development targets to be exceeded. Collaborating and influencing will come naturally to you, and you’ll act as a facilitator to encourage collaboration across the business. You’ll be someone who creates trust and inspires others to achieve results.

Working Location
Ideally, you’d be based in our London office for a minimum of three or four days each week, working the remainder of the week from home. Benefits
You’ll get a salary of between £70,000 - £90,000, dependent on experience, plus a discretionary performance-based bonus.
