Overview

A single-family office is looking to appoint an Investment Manager to join a small investment team reporting directly to the Principal. The role will support the management and ongoing development of a diversified multi-asset investment portfolio across public and private markets, with involvement across portfolio monitoring, manager selection, investment analysis and broader portfolio construction and asset allocation discussions.

This is a hands-on position within a small team, offering broad exposure and direct input into investment decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing management of a diversified multi-asset portfolio across public and private markets
  • Contribute to asset allocation and portfolio positioning discussions
  • Assist with research, evaluation and monitoring of external fund managers and investment strategies
  • Monitor portfolio performance, risk and liquidity across asset classes
  • Produce investment analysis and reporting for the Principal
  • Support investment execution processes, including subscriptions, redemptions and cash management
  • Liaise with external managers, advisers and service providers
  • Contribute to improving investment processes, reporting and decision-making frameworks

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in investment management, portfolio management or multi-asset investing, ideally within a Family Office or similar environment
  • Exposure to public and/or private markets within an investment-focused role
  • Understanding of portfolio construction, asset allocation or manager selection
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment with broad responsibility
  • Experience interacting with external fund managers or institutional stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders
