About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Investment Manager's Assistant to join our successful and growing Investment Management team on a Part Time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and is interested in the world of investments and wealth management. Supporting a small but busy team of Investment Managers, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of client portfolios and delivering an outstanding service experience.

As a key member of the team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support, manage client records, coordinate account administration, and liaise with both clients and internal departments. While you will be involved in supporting client relationships, this is primarily an administration-focused role and does not involve regulated investment activity.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing high-quality administrative support to a team of Investment Managers.
  • Assisting with the opening, maintenance, and closure of client accounts, including the collection of AML documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  • Supporting the preparation and administration of client suitability reports.
  • Acting as a point of contact for client queries and communications.
  • Liaising with professional intermediaries including solicitors and accountants.
  • Monitoring the progress of new investments and resolving administrative issues where required.
  • Coordinating cash movements and payments with internal operational teams.
  • Ensuring client files are managed accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting new business opportunities by ensuring all documentation is completed and processed efficiently.
  • Assisting with occasional project work, including KYC and client review exercises.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve team processes and administrative efficiency.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
