Description
As an Investment Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the growth of Benchmark’s investment solutions business through the development and delivery of high-quality, compliant marketing activity.
Working closely with investment, sales, distribution, and compliance teams, you will translate complex investment concepts, market insights, and performance information into engaging content and campaigns that support adviser engagement, client retention, and commercial growth.
This role combines investment knowledge with marketing expertise and is ideal for someone who enjoys creating impactful communications, managing multiple projects, and building strong relationships across a business. You'll have the opportunity to shape how Benchmark's investment proposition is positioned in the market and contribute directly to our continued growth.
What you'll do
Investment Marketing & Communications
- Translate investment strategies, market insights, and performance data into compelling, compliant marketing content.
- Produce and deliver investment communications including quarterly client guides, factsheets, market updates, performance reports, and promotional material.
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral, presentations, and website content supporting Benchmark's investment proposition.
- Create engaging content for both adviser and client audiences.
Campaign Management & Adviser Engagement
- Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, social, and partner channels.
- Build and manage targeted email journeys to support adviser engagement, lead generation, and retention activity.
- Develop content and campaigns tailored to UK financial advisers and end investors.
- Support the promotion of investment thought leadership and market commentary.

Events & Content Distribution
- Deliver a programme of adviser events, webinars, and investment updates.
- Manage relationships with third-party content distribution platforms and industry partners.
- Maximise engagement through effective content promotion and campaign execution.
Stakeholder & Regulatory Management
- Work closely with investment, sales, and distribution teams to ensure marketing activity supports business objectives.
- Partner with compliance teams to ensure all communications meet regulatory standards.
- Monitor competitor activity, market developments, and industry trends to identify opportunities.
Reporting & Analysis
- Monitor campaign effectiveness and marketing performance against agreed objectives.
- Produce regular reporting and insight to support decision-making and future activity.
- Manage budgets responsibly and maximise return on marketing investment.
The knowledge, experience, and qualifications you need
- Experience within investment management, wealth management, asset management, or financial adviser marketing.
- Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and performance reporting.
- Experience creating marketing communications within a regulated environment.
- Proven experience planning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
- Commercial awareness and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications
- Knowledge of the UK intermediary and financial adviser market.
- Experience using Salesforce and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot).
- Experience working with content distribution platforms and ratings agencies.
- Experience analysing and reporting on marketing performance metrics.
- CIM qualification or equivalent.
- IMC qualification or equivalent investment qualification.
