Investment Operations Analyst – (12m FTC) Treasury, Transfers, Settlements & Corporate Actions

We’re looking for a proactive, adaptable and detail-driven Investment Operations Analyst to join our busy Operations function. If you thrive in a role where every week brings new challenges, fresh priorities and the chance to make a meaningful impact, this is an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience across multiple core operational teams.

This role can be based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow and is a Fixed Term position for 12 months.

In this role, you’ll provide flexible support across Treasury, Transfers, Settlements and Corporate Actions, helping teams manage workload peaks, deliver key business initiatives and maintain the highest standards of operational control. From supporting payment processes and monitoring settlement exceptions to assisting with migrations and embedding new ways of working, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our clients receive consistently excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support across Treasury, Transfers, Settlements and Corporate Actions, responding to changing business priorities.
  • Support payment and banking activities, including workflow monitoring, data validation and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with client and account migrations, preparing, validating and tracking data throughout the migration lifecycle.
  • Monitor operational queues, exceptions and reconciliations, helping to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Support settlement processing, static data updates and wider control activities across the investment operations function.
  • Assist with the administration and processing of corporate actions events, ensuring all associated controls are followed.
  • Maintain accurate management information, operational trackers, control logs and supporting documentation.
  • Contribute to the implementation of new processes, system enhancements and operational change initiatives.
  • Work closely with operational teams and Team Leaders to uphold high standards of client service, risk management and operational efficiency.
