Role Purpose

The Investment Platform Services Manager will support the Head of Investment Platform Services and will play a key role at the intersection of Operations, Technology, Data Management, Change and Investments. This role demands a combination of strategic foresight, leadership, technical expertise, business engagement and supplier management. IPS is being established to centralise relationship management responsibility and be the single conduit for change with key third party suppliers of solutions for investment and related operational functions, notably BlackRock's Aladdin, Finbourne and Murex. This also will involve working with internal teams developing applications and processes employed by these functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as a senior point of contact and subject matter expert for the investment platform, providing guidance, technical insight, and high-quality support for complex issues.
  • Working proactively with Investment and Operations teams as a trusted partner to understand their needs, recommend solutions, and translate requirements into actionable platform changes aligned to PIC strategic goals.
  • Collaborating with central change functions and delivery teams to support the successful implementation of changes that impact or depend on the investment platform ecosystem.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with the external platform provider, managing issues, opportunities, and strategic alignment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
