Description

We are looking for an Investment Sales & Client Engagement Manager to support the commercial growth and promotion of Benchmark’s investment proposition.

Working closely with the Head of Investment Sales, Investment Team, Marketing and Distribution functions, you will help increase adviser engagement, client activity and commercial performance across Benchmark’s employed, self-employed and independent adviser channels.

You will act as a central point of coordination for investment communications, marketing campaigns, events and client engagement initiatives. You will help advisers and clients understand the value of our investment solutions and support the consistent promotion of our proposition across the business.

This is a visible role with regular interaction across senior leadership, investment managers, advisers, clients and external partners. You will need strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills, combined with an understanding of how effective adviser engagement supports commercial growth.

What you'll do

Adviser engagement and support

  • Act as a key link between the Investment Team and Benchmark’s adviser community.
  • Support adviser understanding and adoption of Benchmark’s investment proposition.
  • Coordinate adviser communications covering investment propositions, market updates and proposition changes.
  • Manage adviser queries and work with investment subject matter experts to provide clear and timely responses.
  • Gather adviser feedback and client insight to support the ongoing development of the investment proposition.
  • Help identify engagement opportunities across Benchmark’s employed, self-employed and independent adviser channels.

Client events and marketing activity

  • Coordinate and deliver investment-focused client and adviser events.
  • Support the planning and delivery of webinars, seminars, roadshows and conferences.
  • Work with Marketing to develop event campaigns, supporting materials and communication plans.
  • Manage event logistics, invitations, attendee communications and follow-up activity.
  • Monitor event participation and engagement, producing post-event reporting and recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve future client and adviser activity.

Commercial and sales support

  • Support the Head of Investment Sales in delivering the commercial growth objectives for Benchmark’s investment proposition.
  • Assist with sales opportunities, adviser presentations, client meetings and prospect discussions.
  • Prepare presentations, pitch documents and other supporting collateral.
  • Produce management information covering investment proposition activity and commercial performance.
  • Track adviser adoption, client engagement, sales activity and other agreed performance measures.
  • Maintain accurate records of engagement activity and agreed follow-up actions.
  • Help turn adviser and client insight into practical commercial opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
