The Role
The global asset manager is hiring an Investment Specialist to join its Structured Credit team in London on a hybrid basis. The role sits within the Secured Finance group and focuses on analysing and recommending structured finance investments across the capital structure, from Investment Grade debt to Unrated instruments.
Responsibilities
- Model and evaluate investment opportunities in bespoke transactions across asset types including CMBS, Speciality Finance, CLOs, and RMBS.
- Present findings to senior team members to support investment decisions.
- Assist senior members with ad hoc tasks as required.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Investment Committee.
- Support broader investment opportunities and investment management activities for the Secured Finance Group as required.

Required Experience And Skills
- 3 or more years of experience at an asset management firm or bank.
- Strong investment analysis background with direct experience in structured credit.
- Proficiency in Excel modelling and VBA.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg and Intex.
- Highly quantitative with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and take direction as required.
- Comfortable managing changing priorities under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on execution.
- Interest in financial markets and in how tools such as AI can support internal processes and client outcomes.
