We're looking for an Investment Surveyor to lead the delivery of retrofit and energy efficiency projects that directly improve customers' lives, ensuring homes are warmer, more affordable to run and fit for the future.
What You'll Be Doing
- You'll take ownership of decarbonisation and retrofit programmes from start to finish. This isn't just oversight, it's real project leadership.
- Lead the delivery of energy efficiency and decarbonisation projects, including insulation, low-carbon heating and renewable technologies.
- Manage contractors, consultants, budgets and performance to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
- Prepare specifications, scopes of work and contract documentation.
- Carry out property inspections, technical surveys and quality assurance checks.
- Ensure compliance with PAS 2035, health and safety requirements and relevant legislation.
- Work closely with customers, keeping them informed and putting their needs first throughout the delivery process.
- Drive value for money, innovation and continuous improvement across investment programmes.
- Support the delivery of Bromford's sustainability and carbon reduction objectives.

What We're Looking For
- We're open to different backgrounds, whether you're already working in social housing, construction, retrofit or looking to bring your skills into a role with real purpose.
- Experience delivering property investment, planned works, retrofit or decarbonisation projects.
- Strong contract and contractor management skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Good understanding of construction, maintenance and refurbishment works.
- A relevant qualification (or equivalent experience) in construction, surveying or property.
- Knowledge of PAS 2035 and retrofit delivery requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management.
- Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) or Retrofit Assessor qualifications would be advantageous.
- Experience delivering energy efficiency or government-funded programmes such as Warm Homes or SHDF.
- Understanding of EPC's, SAP assessments and low-carbon technologies.
- Membership of RICS, CIOB or a similar professional body.
