We’re hiring a commercially sharp, Investment VP or Director to join a fast-scaling venture / growth fund. You’ll foster relationships to originate, evaluate and execute deals, and play a long-term role in shaping how the fund operates. This is a high-autonomy role for someone with strong EQ, technical depth and the ambition to grow.
You can work across software, fintech, life sciences and tech-enabled businesses, gaining exposure to deals from £5m–£20m and supporting execution of complex venture-backed transactions. You’ll help shape portfolio reporting, support exits, and contribute to future fund launches.

What You’ll Do
- Originate and assess new investment opportunities
- Lead initial screening calls and present recommendations
- Work with the Partners on underwriting, diligence, structuring and closing
- Build accurate financial models and analyse projections
- Support negotiation of legal documentation and transaction execution
- Attend market events, build a network and originate opportunities
- Manage portfolio relationships with founders, CFOs and investors
- Oversee legal and corporate actions across the existing portfolio
- Contribute to fund operations, reporting processes and fundraising materials

What You Bring
- 6+ years in investment banking and/or private markets in a similar transaction-driven role
- Strong financial modelling and accounting skills
- Highly numerate, detail-driven and able to juggle multiple workstreams
- Confident communicator able to run meetings and originate in-market
- Understanding of venture debt and growth financing
- Integrity, discretion and the ability to build trusted relationships
