What you’ll do

Risk Framework Implementation

  • Support the design and development of the Vodafone Investments’ Risk Management Framework, lead its implementation and align it with Vodafone Group risk management principles and standards.
  • Establish practical and scalable risk processes across Vodafone Partners, Joint Ventures, Ventures and Platforms.
  • Define risk governance, risk ownership and escalation processes across the Investments portfolio.
  • Develop risk appetite statements, risk taxonomies, reporting methodologies and risk assessment standards appropriate to the Investments environment.
  • Drive adoption of the framework and embed risk management into business decision-making and investment governance processes.

Risk Oversight and Reporting

  • Facilitate identification, assessment and management of strategic, operational, regulatory, governance and reputational risks.
  • Maintain and oversee divisional risk registers and control assessments.
  • Provide challenge and guidance to risk owners on mitigation plans and risk treatment actions.
  • Develop insightful reporting for the Vodafone Investments Leadership Team, Boards and governance forums.
  • Escalate material risks and emerging issues in accordance with agreed governance processes.

Compliance Management

  • Support the maintenance of a risk-based compliance programme across Vodafone Investments.
  • Ensure effective implementation of relevant Vodafone policies, standards and controls.
  • Coordinate compliance assessments and monitoring activities across partner markets, investments and joint ventures where appropriate.
  • Provide guidance on regulatory, integrity and compliance-related matters, working closely with Group Compliance and Legal teams.

Assurance & Controls

  • Implement assurance activities to assess the effectiveness of risk controls and framework adoption.
  • Coordinate management assurance reviews and thematic assessments across the portfolio.
  • Track remediation actions and support continuous improvement of the control environment.
  • Work closely with Group Risk, Compliance, Finance and Internal Audit functions to ensure alignment with the wider Vodafone assurance model.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders across Vodafone Investments.
  • Provide practical and commercial advice that balances risk management requirements with strategic and commercial objectives.
  • Deliver training, communication and awareness initiatives to strengthen risk and compliance capability across the division.

Who you are

  • Significant experience in enterprise risk management, compliance, assurance or governance roles within a multinational organisation.
  • Experience designing or implementing risk management frameworks and operating models.
  • Strong understanding of risk management methodologies, controls frameworks and assurance approaches.
  • Experience operating within complex governance environments involving subsidiaries, partnerships, joint ventures or investment structures.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change.
  • Experience preparing reporting and insight for senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance, ethics, anti-bribery and corruption, third-party risk and corporate governance principles.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments and build practical solutions from first principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience of influencing stakeholder behaviour and delivering training.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Experience of and/or demonstrated interest in tech and telco industries highly preferred but not essential.

What's in it for you

  • Discretionary yearly bonus: 10%
  • Annual leave: 28 days + bank holidays + the opportunity to buy/carry over 5 days/year
