Main Function of the Role

We are looking to recruit an Analyst to join the Investor Relations team to support core Investor Relations workstreams, including quarterly investor reporting, client engagement, fundraising support and investor communications.

The role is primarily hands-on and production-focused, with responsibility for preparing materials, supporting reporting processes, maintaining investor information and assisting with recurring client-facing activities. The Analyst will also support selected technology, data and process improvement initiatives and, where required, provide support to Performance & Analytics workstreams to improve cross-team flexibility.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Ongoing Client Engagement and Fundraising Support

  • Prepare client engagement materials, meeting notes and follow-up actions.
  • Support responses to recurring and ad hoc investor queries.
  • Assist with client update meetings, contact management, client portal updates and information requests.
  • Develop an understanding of investor priorities and support preparation for client discussions.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of fundraising materials, pitchbooks, case studies, advisory mandate materials, bespoke investor presentations, RFP / DDQ responses and recurring qualitative content.

Reporting and Investor Communication

  • Assist with quarterly investor reporting, including preparation of qualitative commentary, collation of investment write-ups and stakeholder follow-up.
  • Prepare recurring investor communication materials and support quality control reviews.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve reporting processes through appropriate use of technology and AI tools.

Administration, Systems and Process Management

  • Maintain investor records, Salesforce updates, client portal information, filing structures and recurring administrative trackers.
  • Support KYC / AML coordination, document management and governance processes.
  • Maintain response libraries, question banks and process documentation.

Performance & Analytics Support

  • Support the Performance & Analytics team with collation of fund performance information and supporting schedules used in investor reporting.
  • Assist with preparation of quantitative reporting inputs and track record schedules where required.
  • Support ad hoc investor requests requiring performance, fund or portfolio-level data.
  • Assist with data gathering, reconciliation and validation activities supporting client reporting and fundraising materials.

Data Projects

  • Assist with testing, implementation and onboarding of relevant platforms.
  • Support data quality improvement and process documentation activities.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support for selected technology and automation initiatives.

Minimum Experience Required

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) min: 2:1 obtained
  • Minimum two years experience within private equity or wider private markets, investor relations, investment management, fund administration, investor reporting, analytics or a similar data-intensive environment preferred.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple competing deadlines.
  • Collaborative and willing to work across IR and P&A teams where required.
  • Proactive and willing to learn new systems, processes and subject matter.
  • Client-service oriented with a professional approach to investor communications.
  • Professional qualification (obtained or working towards) beneficial.

Candidate Profile

  • Proactive, organised and confident coordinating stakeholders across multiple functions, with the ability to maintain momentum and delivery standards within complex review and approval processes.
  • Strong judgement on investor communications.
  • Able to balance production, review and process improvement.
  • Willing to take a visible role in client meetings, technology initiatives and junior development.
