Investor Relations Analyst

Location: Coventry
Salary: Competitive + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity

Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking a commercially minded Investor Relations Analyst to join its high-performing Investor Relations team. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical and ambitious professional to gain exposure to senior leadership, including executive and board-level stakeholders, while playing a key role in shaping how the business is represented to the investment community. The successful candidate will support the delivery of investor communications, market analysis, and performance reporting, helping to ensure the company maintains a strong and transparent dialogue with investors, analysts, and other external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation and delivery of financial results communications, including presentations, briefing materials, and supporting documentation.
  • Produce engaging and insightful content for investors across a variety of channels and platforms.
  • Monitor market developments, competitor performance, sector trends, and shareholder activity, providing actionable insights to the wider business.
  • Develop reporting and analysis for senior management and board-level audiences.
  • Track analyst forecasts and consensus expectations, highlighting key trends and variances.
  • Conduct financial analysis and benchmarking to support investment messaging and strategic communications.
  • Assist with investor and analyst engagement, helping to coordinate responses to information requests.
  • Support the planning and execution of investor events, roadshows, site visits, and capital markets activities.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, governance, and compliance across all external communications.

About You:

We are looking for an individual who combines strong analytical capability with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in financial markets. You will ideally demonstrate:

  • The ability to interpret and communicate complex financial and business information clearly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and building relationships across multiple functions.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Experience & Skillset:

  • Previous experience within Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Financial Analysis, Equity Research, or a related area.
  • Exposure to listed company reporting and capital markets.
  • Financial modelling and data analysis skills.
  • Professional finance or accounting qualifications, either completed or in progress.
  • Experience within a regulated or infrastructure-focused industry would be advantageous.
