Profile
This Junior Investor Relations role focuses on listed investment trusts, supporting investor communications, reporting, and market engagement across the UK and globally. You’ll work closely with shareholders, brokers, and analysts to refine engagement strategy.
Main Responsibilities
Investor & Shareholder Engagement
- Manage day-to-day investor relations activities across listed trusts
- Respond to inquiries from shareholders, wealth managers, platforms, and analysts
- Maintain strong relationships with brokers, advisers, and analysts
- Coordinate investor meetings and roadshows, including materials and follow-ups

Market Communication & Reporting
- Prepare factsheets, investor presentations, and market updates
- Support interim and annual reporting, ensuring clarity and accuracy
- Align messaging across investor communications for consistency
Share Register & Market Analysis
- Track shareholder register changes and investor mix trends
- Monitor share price performance and peer fund movements
- Compile internal market updates based on investor feedback
Prospecting & Investor Targeting
- Research potential investors across wealth managers, private banks, and platforms
- Assist in investor outreach through broker and adviser networks
- Analyze investor trends and flows to prioritize outreach efforts
Marketing Materials
- Develop and regularly update investor presentations, factsheets, and materials
- Prepare content for roadshows and investor meetings
- Ensure website and digital content remains current and compliant
Events & Roadshows
- Collaborate on planning investor roadshows, conferences, and events
- Support engagement with wealth channels and retail investors
Product & Market Strategy
- Contribute market insights to product and capital markets discussions
- Strengthen understanding of listed infrastructure and renewable energy funds
- Share investor feedback with appropriate internal teams

Background
Experience & Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in investor relations, research, sales, broking, asset management, banking, or accountancy
- Strong understanding of public markets and listed investment trusts
- Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues
- Analytical acumen combined with proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Highly detail-oriented with the ability to deliver under tight deadlines
- Interest in infrastructure and renewable energy
- Organized and collaborative, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams
