Investor Relations Associate - Private Equity Secondaries | London
An established and growing manager within the private equity secondaries market is seeking to appoint an Associate to join its Investor Relations function in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IR professional to develop their career within a specialist area of the private equity industry, working alongside a senior and experienced team.
Role Overview
Reporting to the VP of Investor Relations, the successful candidate will support the firm's efforts to strengthen relationships with existing and prospective LPs, and will play an active role in the execution of the firm's broader Investor Relations strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to investor queries in a timely and accurate manner, escalating more complex matters to senior team members as appropriate
- Maintain oversight of the relationship with third-party fund administrators
- Prepare briefing materials and background notes ahead of investor meetings and calls
- Manage the due diligence questionnaire (DDQ) process, coordinating with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely responses
- Maintain and organize the firm's repository of due diligence materials and standardized responses
- Produce regular fundraising progress reports and tailored CRM analysis
- Update quarterly marketing materials, presentations, and offering documents in line with brand and messaging standards
- Support the firm's investor outreach programme and maintain data integrity within the CRM system
- Assist with the coordination of investor meetings, events, and the firm's Annual General Meeting

Candidate Requirements

- A minimum of three years' relevant professional experience
- Familiarity with the private equity industry; prior exposure to the secondaries market would be advantageous
- Experience preparing DDQ or RFP responses is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret both quantitative and qualitative information
- A high degree of independent judgment, balanced with an interest in leveraging technology and AI to improve efficiency
